whispers you should talk about that sweet guy name pedri nanezgani

“That name… I remember that name.”

Dark skin, tall, sharp teeth, a dangerous glare to his three eyes – her spine felt a chill run up to the very tip and down the very end. Could there be a man so handsome, so intriguing, so intelligent? There could be no other who could live up to such a fantasy that built in the corners of Nevy’s mind.

“Pedri Nanezgani… a Vengess. Yes, yes I can recall–I felt intense heat when
I looked at him. I felt love and it made me want to do anything and everything
for him. But… But I also felt anger… I felt sadness when he gave his attention to others.”

    “They don’t deserve Pedri’s gaze.
They don’t deserve to waste his time like that.”

nanezganii:

THE VIOLET VENGESS scans the ballroom for his wife, triplet
optics falling over noble after noble, all the names of which he
forgot the moment he had to stop playing the part of master of
secrets, and instead lord of the land itself. he narrows his eyes
as he spots, dressed as grandly as ever. he, too, was dressed
in the finest cloths the royal treasury could afford.

HE SMILES, ABSENTMINDEDLY, warmth coming to his features
as he watches he go about, taking a sip between woefulglances at
nevy and stern looks to wealthy vengess nobles glancing from his
lady love to himself in disapproval.

HE WOULD DEAL WITH THEM LATER.

THE VENGESS KING moves over to his wife with a simple grace,
purring as he comes up beside her from behind, wrapping a
            single arm around her middle.

『 enjoying the dance, my dear?

Alliances, backroom deals, cutthroats and false sincerity; if one would have warned Nevy when she was but a child of all the trouble she’d be forced to push through just to have a life that made her happy – she wouldn’t of believed it. How could the life of a princess turned queen be so awful? It couldn’t of! A romantic castle, knights and the people who would look upon them and smile in the most loving of manners to their Monarch.

                             But she did not garner that love from the  V e n g e s s …

Her marriage to Pedri Nanezgani was attempts to pull Vengess and Covetess together in harmony and further the kingdom’s reaches. That even though Nevy was destined to rule over the Covetess people, she was now welcomed to the Vengess and their deathly politics. Not only was she happy to have Pedri as her husband ( a man she’d been admiring for such a long time from afar ), but also excited to try and win over the other half of her subjects; the violent, aggressive Vengess

Such efforts seemed in vain, many of them looked upon her as if she were the weakest example of monarchy to come; Nevy understood the Vengess admired power and strength over kindness and generosity. But it was not in her nature to be cruel ( only when things didn’t go her way ), by nature she was a social butterfly in the midst of a forest fire, doing her best to spark conversation with the mingling men and women of the court only to quickly be shunned away or bestowed a false smile or three.

Was this truly such a good idea?

            “Pedri…”

Oh how sweetly the name left her cyan lips; plentiful and plump. Whilst her arms did protectively cling to the longer foreign one that held her by the waist, with a voice so smooth against the nape of her neck. “I— I’m not sure anymore. Uh.. I thought if I spoke to everyone, if I smiled enough maybe they’d like me. But they don’t.”

                     “Maybe this was a mistake…”
