He was. Oh, he was, but he was doing everything in his power to ignore her; at least until he and Fira will have finished with the latest recruitment. So, typing furiously, he pretended as if he didn’t currently have someone looming from above him and blowing bubbles in his direction (as a sort of distraction, no doubt).
Always the persistent, Nevy was.
“That ought to do it.”
He said finally. But not in response to the scaled beauty; rather, to the recently approved recruit of TITAN’s army. With a small grin, he handed Jax his official papers and sent him on his way; Fira congratulating the man from beside Gev.
And Gev still wasn’t acknowledging the floating Covetess, even after the fact.
A few bubbles left her lips while her envious gaze turned ten-fold in a glare just down on his head, yet she was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. After all, they weren’t alone – his coworker was just at his side and a few TITAN followers kept coming to the window and leaving.
With an elegant spin, Nevy was then stretched out over Gev’s keyboard and blocked the sight of both his monitor and the window to service potential followers. With a single pink finger she poked the center of his nose, “Gev, just go on lunch already. Tell her that you’re hungry and go to lunch so we can talk.”
“I hate when you ignore me like this, Gev.
Don’t you like having me around?”
