HE KNOWS SHE IS strong, stronger than any of the vengess lords and ladies would ever assume right now. soon, though, soon she be maybe even more powerful than himself in the courtroom. he gives her a soft kiss on the forehead, leaning down as she finishes her statement. he chuckles to himself. flattering? he’d like to think so. then again- who wouldn’t want to take the enticing nevy nervine’s hand in marriage?
THEIR UNION WAS not only of legalities, he had admired her from afar at this ball and that ( and could he assume he had caught her eye as well? ) he takes her hands in his own, ignoring judgemental glances from elder ladies beside them. triplet optics take a quick moment to warn them away from his lady love with the anger festering in violet optics. the vengess king smiles, quadruple canines forming an involuntary malicious smile.
『 and i am flattered that you accept my lonesome request, even at the minor distrust of the covetess by the vengess.』
HE SCANS THE DANCE FLOOR, his grin continuing throughout the moment.
『 come my dear, let us dance. and i can show you just how easy it will be you to master the vengess as you mastered the covetess.』
He was flattered by her words? A shade of red spread across her crimson face, making her feel ten times hotter than she had upon entering the room when Vengess glared upon her, as if she were a mere fish in the guise of a princess. Pedri always knew exactly what to say and when to say it.
“My people only distrust the Vengess because they fear they will be attacked. You know, Pedri, that we’re more… subtle about our motivations and our truths than your people are. The Covetess like to play games of chance, while the Vengess seem more inclined to just rip out your heart. But I know you’ll win them over; you’re just so intelligent.”
In their exchange her gloved palms are taken into his much larger clawed ones, and they curl and tangle together while she’s escorted to the floor of the ballroom. Every eye is on them, and for once in the long while they’d been here she simply didn’t care. Twisting around so that she may face her newly acquired husband, her envious gaze turned warm, whilst tresses of her cyan hair swayed elegantly just at her back.
“I would be honored to have this first dance with you,
there is a glad tone to his voice as he gazes at the covetess. he new he had sensed her presence when that gil boy, that titan sheep, had been around. just as he had sensed tuls and his wife. the entrance from his shared mind to nevy’s was found first however, and thus the king was here with her.
“ it has. how are you? “
“Uh–… I’m not sure.”
The name had been a flash of her past, one that shook her to the very core of whatever soul that still lingered in her body. Pedri… all the heartbreak and the resentment was building all over again as it had when she was alive.
Yes… yes when she was alive.
“Pedri… what happened to me? What happened to you?”
Ah, it was like Nevy to worry, but it didn’t matter how well she explained her reasons, he somehow always came out confused. With his bag on the table, and the flap open, he paused the search for his sandwich and observed her from beneath dark eyelashes.
“Do something?” He inquired, mocking the intensity she’d used. “Why do you make it sound like that? She’s trying to be my friend, not take me around a corner to stick a knife in my back.” He withdrew the square, plastic container holding his lunch from his bag and then pushed the bag off to the side. “For as long as I’ve known Fira, I can’t fathom why you’d believe otherwise.”
He was oblivious to the deeper emotions brewing within Fira’s end of the friendship, if any truly existed.
He peeled the lid off the plastic container, pulled either sleeve of his shirt back, and reached for his sandwich. And that’s when he spoke without thinking his words over. They just slipped right from his mouth.
“You sound jealous, you know?”
There’s a tinge of rage deep inside the floating aquatic, one that begins to bubble and brew to the surface with a scowl on her once pretty face. Now it was filled with disdain and outright scorn to her host whom so casually pointed out her flaw – one she was willing to ignore and pretend never existed.
“I don’t sound any particular way, Gev. You just don’t understand women–or me.”
Perhaps it was a light jab at his tunnel vision in regards to the heart, persons or even his own beliefs. But she didn’t need to get into specifics, all she had to do was wait for Gev to make his own conclusions, and play off that insecure thought or worried tone.
『 i mean- no, of course not, my dear. i shall take your recommendation with open arms. i was just saying that however good they would look on me, they would look even more beautiful on you. 』
Call her spoiled, stubborn and clingy; but Nevy enjoyed having things her way – to an extent. Though she waskind and soft, she still had the wrath of a shark on the prowl.
“Oh, Pedri. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to snap at you like that. You’re always so kind to me, so loving; how could I ever assume the worst out of you?”
And when in guilt she played the emotional card like a professional.

“I suppose it depends what one thinks a King should look like. But… honestly? I think you could do with some sea shells on your collar. There are ones that are so deeppurple, they look black. The more I think of it, the more I realize how striking it would be on you.“

♥ As suggested by the title this is a highly selective blog, and I'm particular who I interact with. I'm still pretty new to the Ava's Demon fandom, so I'm just taking babysteps for the time being ( I only roleplay with mutuals ).
♥ None of the artwork is mine, but I did make the graphics and spent a lot of time with my theme in question. Don't take it please, and thank you. As well as the icons I went out of my way to make.
♥ This blog is multi-fandom AND multi-ship friendly. I'm still debating if I will exclusive ship, but who knows? Probably not. I do enjoy Pedri x Nevy, though, I'm not sure if I see Nevy as one to like her own sex but who knows? Maybe as the story develops and we learn more it will change.
♥ Ava's Demon is filled with mature themes and they will be referenced or talked about on this blog ( whether ic or ooc ). I do tag serious things like suicide, etc, etc and you should make sure your tumblr savior works! I won't tag everything under the sun, however, so also be aware of that.

Nevy Nervine is Gil Marverde's demon as well as his best friend. She has no memory of her former life.
Appearance
Nevy is a fish-like being, with her theme being water. Her colors are commonly cold, with many shades of blue. Her eyes are green, notably a reference to the expression "green-eyed monster". Her lips are blue, giving her a cold appearance. She has blue circles on her cheeks and body. Her horns, hands, and feet are pink. Like Wrathia Bellarmina, she has really long hair, though hers is blue and looks like kelp. She uses a little blue dress that is assumed to be underwear, however, when she was alive, she used a long dress, which was in accord to her position as a princess.
Personality
Her associated sin is envy. Nevy appears to want Gil's full attention, seemingly feeling threatened when Ava Ire, Maggie Lacivi and Odin Arrow intrude in their lives; she warns Gil that they could be dangerous, feeling suspicious that they sustained no injuries-though this is also her wanting to protect him from those that might bring him harm. When Gil is talking to Maggie, she repeatedly tries to get his attention and insists on making Maggie leave, being extremely objective of Gil's suggestion of taking the three with them to TITAN's headquarters. Nevy is clearly fearful of a lot of things. She has become attached to Odin, as he causes her to recall memories from her past life, specifically being in love; the reason of this reaction remains unknown.
Skills and Abilities
Nevy's abilities seem to be based on the element water. She can be seen to frequently blowing bubbles or materializing bubbles with different shapes. Nevy seems to be one of the more powerful or useful demons as Wrathia told Ava she should try to find her first, along with Pedri.
